Hello everyone,
I would like to ask you for some solution for my two memory slots.
My general idea is: 2x16 / 2x32 (2133MHz) - if it makes sense (price/performance) // if not possible 2x8 or buy same one as I have.
In attached links are some screens from AIDA64, it may help.
Motherboard: https://ctrlv.cz/LKv3
Nord Bridge: https://ctrlv.cz/DybD
Memory: https://ctrlv.cz/coXU
If you need any additional info do not hesitate ask me.
Of course please provide the full name, specs (additonal info as well.. explanation for better understanding, possibilities where buy it...;) THX a lot!. )
Thank you in advance for any answer and your effort.
Best regards and have a successful day
Tom.T

Hi:
Your notebook only supports DDR3L-1600 memory.
Chapter 1 of the service manual indicates the max memory is 2 x 8 GB.
Run this command to see how much memory your notebook can support.
1. In the search box, search for cmd and click Run as administrator.
This will open the command prompt.
2. Once command prompt is opened, type wmic memphysical get maxcapacityEx and press the enter key.
There, it will show the maximum RAM capacity your PC's motherboard can support.
The capacity is shown as Kilobytes, so you have to convert it to Gigabytes by dividing the number provided in the report by 1,048,576.
This should be a compatible 8 GB memory chip for your notebook:
It should work with the existing memory chip that HP installed.

You're very welcome.
Yes, the report does indicate your notebook can support 2 x 32 GB of memory but here's the problem...
There is no such thing as a 32 GB DDR3L-1600 SODIMM and there are very few 16 GB memory chips for sale
This was the cheapest one I could find that has any chance of working...there is another one for less but it is CL9 and that wouldn't work.
You need a CL11 memory chip.
And there is no 100% guarantee it would work.
