Just picked one up on sale but can’t find any reviews for this version. Seems like everyone reviewed the 7040s but I think this new one runs at a higher TDP since it included a 100W charger?

What is 7040s ?  For 8845hs vs 7940hs - Please read the following topic

For TDP, they are nearly the same. Your machine has 100W charger could be it has dedicated GPU.
