Product: HP Notebook - 14-cf1051od
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Background: I needed to replace the battery for a HP Notebook 14-cf1051od  [personal information removed], I went to the maintenance and service guide on it's produce page and found the spare part number for the battery: L11119-855. When I went to parts.hp.com/ it said it wasn't available, but may be on one of their authorized reseller's websites. I found the battery L1119-855 on a reseller's site and ordered it; however, the battery they shipped was L11421-423.

 

Primary Question: They're claiming that the L11421-423 battery is the same battery as the L1119-855 and compatible with my HP Notebook 14-CF1051od [personal information removed], can anyone confirm that these two batteries are the same and compatible with my laptop?

HP does not have L1119-855 any more

Thanks but that doesn’t really answer the question, is the L11421-423 battery compatible/a replacement for HP Notebook 14-cf1051od [personal information removed]? Only L11119-855 is listed in the manual, but a reseller said the two batteries are identical even though they have different part numbers
