Are Surface Pens compatible with HP Spectre x-360 Convertible ?

Unfortunately, you have not identified your notebook beyond letting us know that it is an HP Spectre x360.

HP Spectre  x360 notebooks/.ulktrabooks are not identical and many have different specifications, especially if one was bought and configured to order by the owner.

Take a look at the bottom of your notebook for the Product number and complete product name.

Kindly post it here.

You can also find  the product number in the HP Support Assistant as I have done as an example with my personal Spectre x360 below

The Microsoft Surface pan and the HP Active Pen both use  N-Trig technology.

If your notebook is compatible with the Hp Active Pen, then the Microsoft Surface pen should work.

I have not been able to find a compatibility list that even shows that there is a sytlus/pen that is compatible with your  specific HP Spectre x360 ultrabook.

I did see where someone posted in Reddit  as having a notebook with the very same HP product name/product number as yours and he or she stated that the HP Active pen did not work with it.

That is specifically why I made sure that the HP Spectre notebook that I bought in 2018 would be delivered with an Active pen.
