I have an HP 15-db1006nv laptop and I am interested in adding RAM memory.

I would like to ask you the following:

a)what is the max. memory capacity which I could install in my laptop (32 Gb ?) ,

b) what is the max. frequency of the RAM which I could install ( 3200 MT/s ?).

Hi:

 

Below is the link to the crucial memory report for your notebook, which provides the information you requested.

The Ryzen processor can't run the memory at 3200 MHz, so there is no point in installing such a speed.

Why does Crucial give that information (max . 32 Gb 3200 MHz) for the HP 15-db1006nv ?

 

What’s the official HP specification about RAM capacity and frequency for 15-db1006nv ?

The official HP memory spec can be found in the service manual--chapter 1.
