I am reaching out regarding an issue with charging my laptop. Previously, I used a 33W Type-C fast charger to charge my laptop, and it worked perfectly. However, I recently switched to a 44W Type-C charger, but my laptop is not charging with this charger. Could you please advise on the appropriate wattage for a charger that would be compatible with my laptop?

i couldn't help but chuckle at this post and be mildly frustrated because... It's gotta be this kinda stuff that causes these big companies to use bots for replying to peoples questions it'd be nonsense to pay a person actual money to come on here to troubleshoot when they'd first have to establish whether you even belonged in that section.. you literally are in the "desktop" section that you have to deliberately choose out of the different groups and there most definitely is a dedicated section for those things called laptops. Maybe going there would help your cause lol after seeing maybe 3-4 of these types of incorrectly placed posts in the first few i glanced at i couldn't help myself it just causes needless confusion and flooding of forums then no one gets any good answers ...so again.. you ask for assistance for a laptop charger compatibility... did you think that a desktop section is somehow going to be the appropriate place for this lazy inquiry because honestly..really  there are easy ways you can figure it out honestly how hard is it to read the specs of your system? and you pretty much answered your own question anyway.. 33w type c worked...great.. you for no reason decided to get a 44w type-c and it didn't work.... do you think your laptops compatible? what do you think the response you'll get is? just holding out on it and hoping for some answer and fix like --...oh yes its compatible you just must have looked at the charger wrong and its upset with you, put it on the phone and our hp guys will speak to it about its charging responsibilities? I'm so confused on what the expected outcome here is lol
