Hi  @Anil134,

The TPM attestation error 0x80280009 commonly occurs during Windows Autopilot deployments, specifically in pre-provisioned deployment or self-deploying mode on select HP systems. When this issue arises, the computer may time out during the TPM attestation process.

Affected HP Systems

This problem can occur on several HP devices, including:

  • HP Elite Dragonfly, HP Elite x360, HP EliteBook, HP ProBook series
  • HP ZBook Firefly, HP ZBook Power Mobile Workstation
  • HP ZBook Studio Mobile Workstation

These systems may also run on Microsoft Windows 10 (versions 21H2 and 22H2) or Microsoft Windows 11 (versions 21H2 and 22H2), using CPUs like AMD Ryzen 6000, Intel Core 12th, and 13th Generation processors.

Resolution

To address this issue, you need to update the TPM firmware. You can achieve this by downloading and installing the appropriate SoftPaq for the affected products. Specifically, the Infineon TPM Endorsement Key Certificate Update Utility, version 1.0.1.105, revision B, can be used.

You can access the release notes here and download the necessary SoftPaq using this link.

Updating the TPM firmware should resolve the TPM attestation error during Windows Autopilot deployment.

Hope this helps solve your issue
