HP Pavilion Laptop PC 15-eg2000 (4U9E8AV)

I newly bought an hp laptop and the battery only last for 2 hours after full charge (100%). This continue to be the problem even after I changed to battery saver mode and still have to dim my screen light. I didn't do any live streaming, gaming or any power consuming task on it yet. there was a certain day that I fully charged the hp laptop to 100% and I shut down the system properly, only to turn it on after two days and I noticed that the battery percentage was left with 70%. I ran hp diagnostic tools severally and it said the battery was fine - I only owned the laptop for about a week now and I don't know why the battery life is so bad.

How do I best fix this issue?

@Rainbow23

having gone through all the viable solutions preferred by this platform without any positive effect, I think at this point it is safe to say that my laptop battery drain issue is a factory defect from HP.
