Gone crazy trying to obtain new battery for older HP Pav. N/Book.[edit]:: PROD.K4E58EA.... Batt.No.CTEUUEC4GW9LH4W...Batt CT No. 07390 10/08/2015 :: Please can anyone point to a compatible anywhere ::  I have tried everywhere but am now number blind from the effort ! Can anyone please help. There must be a simple compatibility list somewhere for discontinued source batteries.... Thank you

Yes there are Service Manuals for HP notebooks which list the HP Part number of the battery. In your case:

 

(18) Battery (4-cell, 41-Whr, 2.8-Ah Li-ion) 800049-001

 

This is an external clip-out/clip-in battery and widely available online at battery vendors, eBay and amazon.uk. 

 

This is a genuine HP battery, but is a little on the expensive side:

3rd party compatible battery
