Product: HP Notebook 15bs095nia
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Had charged the laptop with a Dell power adapter now had to change it back to an HP power adapter . But have noticed the laptop has started giving me a battery notification that it needs to be replaced. Does it mean that this might have caused damage to the battery. Is there any way to resolve this error code REOOW so that the battery life is atleast brought back to normal

Did you run the diagnostic test on the battery? Generally if there is a problem with the battery you replace it. The only other thing to try is to do a hard reset on the computer and perhaps a BIOS update.
