HP Notebook - 15-da0594sa
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I JUST REPLACED MY BATTERY A MONTH AGO. FOT THE PAST 2 DAYS MY SYSTEM KEEPS SHUTTING DOWN WITHOOUT ANY  WARNING DESPITE THE BATTERY PERCENTAGE BEING HIGH (LIKE 80%). WHEN I TRY TO PUT IT ON. IT DOES NOT ON UNTIL I PLUG IT AGAIN. IWHEN IT TURNS ON. IT STARTS CHARGING FROM THAT SAME 80%. I HAVE RAN SEVERAL BATTERY TESTS ANT IT ALL SHOWS THE BATTERY IS STILL HEALTHY. I ALSO TRIED REINSTALLING WINDOWS, CMOS RESET AND RECALIBRATING THE BATTERY. IT STILL DOES NOT WORK. WHAT SHOULD I DO.ONE OF THE TESTONE OF THE TEST

Judging by the Battery Report information, that isn't a new battery.

I notice the design specification and the full charge capacity. They differ too much for a new battery.

That battery must have issue.

I would request an RMA from the vendor that sold it and replace it with another battery, hopefully in better condition.

Just a heads up, you should not ever let the battery drop below 20% of capacity, if  possible.

ALL THE TESTS ON THE BATTERY INCLUDING HP HARDWARE DIAGNOSTICS SAY THE BATTERY IS HEALTHY AND IT NEEDS TO BE RECALIBRATED BUT I CANNOT RECALIBARTE IT BECAUSE THE BATTERY KEEPS DYING AT 80 PERCENT AD WHEN I PLUG IT BACK. IT CONTINUES CHARGIG AT 80 PERCENT. THE TEST RESULTS SHOW ONLY A LITTLE REDUCTION FROM THE DESIGN CAPACITY AND FULL CHARGE CAPACITY

Turn off the capital letters or I will not reply.

I would like to explain how the way you are using the laptop's battery, according to the battery report, is reducing the full storage capacity of your battery.

Whether you choose to listen or not is your choice.

Oh sorry for the caps luck i wasn't trying to be aggressive. Anyways, what i don't really understand is the test results. The usage that was shown there was because i left my laptop unplugged for a while when trying to reinstall applications and updates. in the picture i just uploaded all the low percentages were as result of sudden drop in percent.Screenshot (1).png

No problem.

What I noticed was that you had let it get below 20% charge.

That is never good for a lithium Ion battery.

If you have done that numerous times it has limited the  normal service life of the battery.

That can make the battery unreliable in an unusually short period of time.

Oh ok thanks. I will probably meet the retailer i bought it from to replace it for me

That is a good plan.

Remember that 20% charge number number as a bottom limit  with all of your electronics using Lithium Ion batteries in the future.
