You're very welcome.

That is correct.

To access the BIOS information, restart the PC. 

Tap the ESC key at the beginning of the HP welcome screen to get the menu of options.

Select the F10 setup option, and press the Enter key.

There should be information regarding the BIOS family and BIOS version installed.

You may also be able to find that info by running this free utility that I zipped up and attached below.

Run the program.  Close out of the summary report.

On the left side of the program window, click on the Motherboard item.

On the right side of the window will be a lot of information regarding the motherboard.

There is a BIOS section and it should tell you the BIOS family and BIOS version (about 2/3 down the report window).
