Folks,

The BIOS One-Time Boot Menu is supposed to be invoked on HP machines by pressing esc key at boot-up but has no effect on my laptop. BIOS set-up opens with standard F10 at boot-up but I'm after the BIOS One-Time Boot Menu.

Is there a key other than esc which opens BIOS One-Time Boot Menu on the nw8240 or am I barking up the wrong tree altogether?

Stay safe and keep smiling.

George

Hi Huffer,

I've tried all the Fx keys and Esc key at successive boot-ups and the only ones that do anything are F10 for standard BIOS menu and F12 for a Network boot. I thought there might be some combination of keys that access the BIOS One-Time Boor Menu on this model but perhaps it's too old for that to have been implemented?

Thanks and stay safe.

George
