I'm unable to enable the virtual machine option in my BIOS so I need to update it to enable this function

BIOS update will not fix this.  BIOS updates do not add features like this; instead, they add support for newer processors or fix bugs in the existing firmware code.

 

If the option is not seen, it is likely an Advanced Setting -- and those are locked out by HP.
