A BIOS update is needed as it is not available for download on the website. Updating the BIOS for HP Notebook PCs (AMD Processors) Version: F.29 (Now version of BIOS is F.12)

Hi:

 

Your notebook is not supported by HP for Windows 10, so the only BIOS update files are found under the W8 section of the support page.

 

F.2A is the latest BIOS update that came after F.26.

I do not know if it would be safe to update the BIOS when you are running an unsupported operating system.

 

Update the BIOS at your own risk.
