There is no such option for BIOS update in my laptop HP 15-ac053tu, [Personal Information Removed]. I have tried to update the BIOS from within windows 10 itself but when it says to restart, nothing happens regarding BIOS update and the machine boots to windows. I tried Hardware Diagnostics, booted the laptop from USB but there is no option such as Firmware Management.

Please help.

The last time there was a BIOS update for your laptop was in 2018.

F.26 Rev.A  Mar 23, 2018

If BIOS version F.26 Rev.A from Mar 23, 2018 is already installed, that is the latest BIOS your laptop will have.

You can download and use CPU-z to see what BIOS is installed. CPU-z is a safe and well known enthusiast utility.

Firmware Management as an option was removed from the HP PC Hardware Diagnostic UEFI utility years ago.
