BIOS and Firmware updates - Laptop - Release notes??

Hello,

I just was prompted and completed a BIOS and Firmware update on my HP Laptop today.

HP Laptop PC 15-fd000

I'm disappointed HP doesn't list the release notes on what was included in the updates.... at least its not something

I see readily available. I've check my individual product page for my laptop.

How do I find this information?

Specifically these two updates:

HP Consumer Notebook PC BIOS Update (Intel Processors):

F.10 Rev.A

61.8 MB

Apr 12, 2024

And Firmware update:

HP ME firmware update to  6.1.30.2307

The only information I can find is on the BIOS update page for your notebook:

HP 15.6 inch Laptop PC 15-fd0000 Software and Driver Details

Fix and enhancements:

- Provides the 2024.1 security enhancement.

NOTE: After this BIOS update is installed, previous BIOS versions cannot be reinstalled.

I tried the link but I'm getting a redirect error.  When I just copy and past the link into a new window it works though.

I see what your saying. Just a very basic note that you pasted. 

Darn. I like to know what is changed or added. I suppose security info is tight lipped but I would figure there

were more enhancement's but maybe not.

You're very welcome.

The security update info is very short and does not go into any details.

Some other BIOS updates may provide more info as to what they do.

When the page comes back up, check the Revision History section to see what the other BIOS updates did.

The page is not working for me either right now, so HP must be doing something with the support pages.
