Hello

I've tried to update BIOS in my HP pavilion dv7 - 6030ew - from year 2011 (product number LK784EA).

I found the update file sp52509, installed the new partition HP_TOOLS and after installing sp52509 nothing happens. 

 

My current BIOS version is F.1B, 2011-10-05, SKU Number 165A; System Board ID 10.31.

 

I'm using Windows 10 and would like to use new hard disk (SSD) in GPT mode, not MBR.

If the disk is in GPT mode, BIOS does not see it after switching the laptop on.

 

So, I need BIOS with UEFI.

 

Please advice me, what can I do?
