Dear All,

I have an HP ENVY x360 - 15-bp102n latop. I check in my laptop has a old BIOS ver 38. I download from HP webpage two newer version (rev 42, rev 44) I tried to install booth without sussecc. After the .exe installation, nothing happened. Not start the BIOS update softver.
Do anyone has this problem? How can I solve it?

Thank you, but not start the bios update program. I download the sp88814.exe click for install, and than nothing happened.

Please do not post Serial Numbers.

 

The model number you give is incomplete, however...

 

sp93263 is a later version.

I started to dowload, the assistant download it, and than start the installation, but the BIOS update not start.  I give administration permission.

My final suggestion is to make a Flash Drive version if you can.

Step 2: Create a USB recovery drive

Install a BIOS recovery file from the HP website using a USB flash drive. To complete this step, you need a second working computer with an active Internet connection.

The issue that the InstallShield Wizard  start, I ckick to the next and than nothing happened.

I tried in 3 computers, and the same result.

I think the software package is possibly broken, however I did download sp93263.exe.

 

AND using 7zip expanded/extracted the file list, therein.....
