Hi, I have a HP pavilion dv6000 with motherboard Quanta 30D2 (U2E1), version 79.28 with a BIOS HP F.45. I have changed the windows version from vista to windows 10 and I would like to speed-up a little bit my laptop by changing the HDD with an SSD. To do so I guess I should update the BIOS version. Can you please suggest me an updated version of BIOS to be installed in my laptop. Thank you.

While the HP pavilion dv6000 is fairly old, it should still be able to accept a 2.5" SATA SSD meant to replace standard hard drives.
Since you are from Italy, search the local retail outlets or Newegg.com. Depending on the present Hard drive size but a PC that old probably has a 500GB drive. An easy update and should not require a BIOS update.
I tried to locate the HP pavilion dv6000 in the support pages but there are many in that line. There is probably more to the model number than HP pavilion dv6000, to get specific help for a newer BIOS, give the complete model number.
I'm not an HP employee.
