We bought two identical 14" laptops about four years ago.   I could not readily cope with the small screen so bought a Desktop and 24" display about two years ag.    Over the last four years  I have updated the BIOS (and other software) on the machines in use based on Security Bulletins from HP.   My laptop has been in a cupboard for two years so it has not been updated and I have now resurrected it and updated Windows.   The HP Support Assistant tells me there are no updates for this laptop from HP.

 

I am confused, can anyone help me?

Here is the Support page. I see several drivers and a BIOS version that are issued in 2020 or later:

Thanks for the link I'll get to it over the weekend, I hope.   Wonder why the HP Support Assistant doesn't find these updates?
