Thanks for your quick replyI am sorry. That didn't make much sense to me. Just tell me, if i can use this:

Samsung 860 EVO Series - 500GB M.2 SATA Internal SSD (MZ-N6E500BW) https://www.amazon.in/dp/B078218TWQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_meMhBbNZNDYYJ

Your welcome. Yes, I should have written SATA3 above, but all M2 drives are SATA3, SATA3 is the last edition of sata interface and has speed of 6Gb/s

You didn't give any "yes". But, you've linked source that cleared my confusion, though.
Can i use Samsung 860evo 500GB m.2 (MZ-N6E500BW)

@Naveen.

Instead of going for M.2, use 2.5 inch SSD and replace existing HDD.  Reach out to the service center and they will help you with same.  There will be no difference in speeds and 2.5 inch will be cheaper compared to M.2.  You can use drive caddy for the replaced HDD and that also works at SATA III which I tested.

With M.2 I dont have a clarity if the one you mentioned will fit in the space provided and service person are also not able to confirm it. I cannot help much on it.

With HP unlike DELL, replacement can be done officially and they approve it.. which is the main reason I bought this one.

I am quite happy with speeds and results after adding SSD+HDD+8 GB extra RAM.

Hope this helps.

@pvnnpavan Thanks. I don't mind the price. I want to use both the harddisk & CD drive along with m.2

Does that result in any sorry if problem?

To my knowledge, I dont see any issue there.. its like using all 3 available SATA ports on laptop..
