Error

BSOD error of Kernal and Graphic driver after updating ram from 4-16GB

Diagnostics

One of the 2 chips is problematic though it worked the first day smoothly after installation.

Now it does not run either separately or with another chip.

 

Tried Solutions

Bios and windows diagnostics clear the ram tests.

Bios updated with latest available on HP website.

Updated Graphic and other hardware drivers.

 

Fresh Copy of Windows installed with all updates.

 

Out Come

Problem still on

That is one of the possible outcomes of not upgrading with a pair of guaranteed compatible and absolutely identical memory modules.

 

Until you fix that issue, the problem will not go away.

Upgrading the BIOS is never a solution for this.
