My HP Spectre x360 - 15-df0033dx does not charge, on the occasion that it is plugged in and charging nothing happens and i cant turn it on, the light flashes orange until i press the power on button then it goes white for a second then back to orange.
When it does eventually boot, I am stuck on a BSOD loop with no options helping me whatsoever.
*edit I just attempted to do it, and i got as far as resetting my pc before the laptop shut down. and now theres a password which i never setup..

Hi @kr7me,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding the power and BSOD problems on your PC!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Try these steps:
Troubleshooting Charging and Power Issues
Check the Power Adapter and Cable:
- Ensure you're using the original HP power adapter and cable. Inspect both for any signs of damage.
- Try a different power outlet to ensure the issue isn't with the outlet itself.
Perform a Hard Reset:
- Disconnect the power adapter.
- Press and hold the power button for about 15 seconds.
- Reconnect the power adapter and try powering on the laptop.
Battery Indicator:
- If the battery light is flashing orange, it generally indicates a battery problem. Consider removing the battery (if removable) and reinserting it, or check further with HP support.
Troubleshooting BSOD and Booting Issues
Safe Mode:
- If you can boot into Safe Mode, try accessing it. Restart your computer and press the F8 key repeatedly before Windows starts.
Startup Repair:
- Boot the laptop and press the F11 key to open System Recovery.
- Select 'Troubleshoot', and then navigate to 'Advanced options'.
- Choose 'Startup Repair' to fix possible booting issues.
System Restore:
- From the "Advanced options" menu, select "System Restore" to return your system to a previous state.
Reset Your PC:
- Attempt to reset your PC through Advanced options > Reset this PC, but ensure backups of important files if possible, as this can lead to data loss.
Check for OS corruption:
- If you manage to access the OS, update your Windows installation to the latest version.
Check for Hardware Issues:
- If none of these steps work, you might be facing a hardware malfunction. Contact HP support or a certified technician for assistance.
I hope this helps.
