I have a Hp omen 16 which I bought in may 2023. It has been 1 year and 3 months and my laptop has gone dead. I faced the BSoD issue earlier just after 3-4 month after I brought it. It was resolver that time and even then I faced a lot of issue. 5 days ago again my laptop went i to the BSoD loop and i contacted the support we tried everthing there was no fix for it. We trial all command promt stuff everthing nowthing worked.
I reinstalled windows even before completing the setup my laptop would just restart and go into a loop and then blue screen. HP support said it might be a problem with the ram or ssd. After checking the ram and ssd they were working fine and i tried a different ssd and loded windows 11 and again it was in a loop tried different ram nothing worked.
Also tried windows 10 but no good it was just the restart loop all over again.
I am a college going student and saved up to buy this laptop and it has give me soo many issues. And now It is 3 months out of warrenty and I probably have to get my whole mother board replace. Or maybe multiple hardware replacement.
Is it a good investment? Several issues while it was under warranty and After one year 3 months it just stopped working all togeather.

It looks like you've done everything you're supposed to do. I'll just go over some things to verify what you've tried. Be sure you have the latest UEFi diagnostics.
Have you run diagnostics?
Tap the ESC key after powering on. . Tap it once a second after you see the LEDs on the keyboard flash. When you see the startup menu, press F2 to run diagnostics.
HP releases newer UEFI diagnostics periodically. When you select F2 during boot you are requesting UEFI diagnostics. There is an updated diagnostics package Click Here Look for the phrase 'issues outside the OS', Expand the'+'symbol and click the DOWNLOAD button. |
If a component fails during the UEFI test there is a hardware problem.
=====cloud recovery=====
You have cloud recovery and can restore to factory software.
Use F10 to go into the BIOS setup and then use F9 to force default. Make sure the date and time are correct and make sure you have secured boot enabled. Be sure to save settings when you exit.
Use another PC that you have administer rights on to create the cloud recovery. You will need a 32 gigabyte flash drive and about an hour's time
The HP Cloud Recovery Tool is an application developed by HP. It enables customers to access a digital download of their recovery media and create a bootable USB drive (Minimum 32GB) to recover their units back to factory status.
