A Backlit Keyboard is an option on this series
If your computer has a backlit keyboard, there will be an icon on one of the keys along the top row of the keyboard.
In this system the backlit key icon is located in the F5 key position - tiny keyboard surrounded by rays of a sunburst.
Blank key / No icon on key = The computer does not have a backlit keyboard.
Open
Go to Page 12
As mentioned, the backlit keyboard is an option.
Turn to page 61 in the maintenance manual to see the country codes and part numbers.
Note the comment:
The top cover with keyboard remains after removing all other spare parts from the computer.
This means the task is likely at least a mid-level skill task.
Perhaps not for the novice, in other words.
