Product: 15-cs1000tx
Operating System: Linux

Bought the 15-cs1000tx yesterday(india) and i have been unable to find a service manual to open its backcover to install a wd green m.2 ssd. Hp support told me they cant help unless i buy a ssd from them.  

 

Third party laptop repair guys refuse to touch it due to its slim form factor and the way the back cover is angled.

I have removed hundreds and the best thing is to go slow but be firm.

 

Just take your time and you will do just fine.

 

Keep track of the screws???

 

For some reason I always loose one!!!

The rule of thumb is if you did not break anything the warranty is still good.

 

Although the M.2 will not be covered under the warranty.
