Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I just bought a customized product with full-size island-style backlit keyboard for which details are shared at the end of this message. The problem I am encountering is that there is no backlight on the spacebar while on pressing F5 I am able to turn ON/OFF the lights on rest of the keys. I went through other similar question asked previously on this forum but I am still not sure that this is done by design on this particular laptop. Therefore I'd like to make sure and then get it exchanged if it's the case of hardware issue. Please let me know at your earliest convenience. Thank you!
