Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Backlight not working on my laptop. All my printers are up to date in hp support assistant. Fn with f5 or just f5 key doesn't work. There was no problem before but suddenly it stopped working

I don't think your machine has backlit keyboard, its specs

Does it have a key (normally f5 or f4) with backlit symbol on it ? But still try

I have use backlit before I have a backlit button at f5 like in the link. It was suddenly broken.  I did software updates but still doesnt work. Can I open via software to control is it work or not? Or should I go to do service for hardware problem?

We have 17" laptop only couple weeks old running Windows 11.  Backlit keys worked for a couple times, now not on.  Tried the F5 with and without FN.  Nothing.  Should we return laptop as broken?
