Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

So my motherboard is busted, won’t boot whatsoever, and I loved and cherished this machine treating it with the most care possible, when one day it just shut off and never woke up again.  Took it to GeekSquad and they did literally nothing (typical) so I was wondering if there's any way can get the motherboard replaced (and screen separation at hinge fixed) for a reasonable cost or is my laptop basically totaled?
