Hello

I've never had a problem with my computer's battery before. But 1-2 months ago it stopped charging to 100%. Now it stops at around 80-83%. This is no matter how long I let it sit, whether it is all night it stops and the light indicator does not change to white as it has always done.

I have checked that it is fully updated. At the same time, I have tried to run HP's own battery control program, where the program tells that there are no problems.

Before, I could easily use the computer for a whole day without recharging, but now I need to have a charger if I have to be away for more than 3 hours.

The computer was purchased in September 2016.

I hope you can help me.

That is an indication that the battery is reaching the end of its service life.

Replacing the main  battery with a new one would be the best option.

It can be replaced by a notebook shop or if you feel technically competent enough you can do it yourself.
