HP Recommended
HP Battery Diagnostics indicates that the system cannot properly test the battery and states that if the system cannot power on without AC power, the primary battery should be replaced. My laptop shuts down within 1–2 seconds after unplugging the charger despite showing charge. The battery has only around 100 charge cycles and the warranty expired recently. I mostly used the laptop for lectures and light work. I would appreciate this being reviewed as a possible premature battery failure.
