EliteBook 8570W
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have the HP EliteBook 8570W that I got recently. Like the title says, it tells me battery 1 isn't present and battery 2 is 0% and not charging. It needs to be directly plugged in to be on at all and was wondering how to fix it.

I have read online that I can uninstall my battery drivers and turn off the computer, remove battery, hold power for 1 minute, put battery back in, and turn it on, but that hasn't been working.

Have exactly the same problem with an HP Elite Folio 9480m

I have removed the battery and tried to reset the driveers, however this should only affect the battery in Windows and not starting/booting the laptop from being off.

I have even tried the same battery in another laptop with the charger and both are fine!
