Hi There,

 

I am getting below message whenever I start my HP Laptop which is just 2 years old not use so frequently.

 

Battery Alert

It has detected that the capacity of the internal battery has been reduced.

How do I fix this?

Since it has been rarely used, the main battery storage capacity is reduced. 

 

You can charge it overnight before turning it on to see if that helps.

 

The reality is that since you have not used it with its battery and charging it when required, you will need to replace the main battery with a new one. 

 

There is no fix for a degraded battery, such as yours, except replacement as a solution.
