Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,
Recently my laptop HP Pavilion - 15-au101np has battery problem.

I ran battery test at boot and it says:

- Battery Status: Replace (42)
- Charge Sate: Blown Fuse (42)

It does not charge beyond 9% and after a few minutes on and plugged in it starts making weird noises and screen starts flashing.

 

I checked the forum before posting and read it needs new battery but users have issues finding original HP battery since it is not made  anymore.
Since I always use the laptop plugged in I have this question:

- Can I remove battery and use the laptop always plugged in?
At this point it is making weird noises and screen flashes.
