Hey there

I have been facing an issue with my laptop

Which us HP Pavilion laptop 14 bk0xx

My original battery got swollen due to overcharge so i replaced my battery (model Ht03xl) i completed the initial calibration and then i installed new window

And now my laptop gets shut down at 60% and dont turn on till plugged in again and charging starts from where it turned iff (e.g 58%)

Also it takes 4-5 hours to complete charging

Maximum time for charging upto 60 and then suddenly to 100 in no time

Hp support assistant showed health to b ok but needed calibration

But in this case when laptop turned off again and again at 60 or below how i can discharge it completely

  • Kindly guide me about the issue

I suggest providing the actual HP product name  and productID (SKU) of your laptop.

Watch  this official HP video to learn how to identify your HP laptop

Only use genuine HP batteries that have the HP part number and the HP logo on them.

Non-genuine (generic), ( i.e HT03XL) batteries are known to sometimes not work as expected because of their non standard programming of the internal BMS (battery management system) chip.

If you read through threads in the forum related to problems after battery replacement you will see many members who have used generic batteries complaining that they are not working as expected.

Buying a cheaper generic battery can cause unexpected issues.
