HP Support Assistant recommended a Battery Calibration on 12 December.

Followed suggested calibration steps.

The battery report confirmed that the battery is ‘Normal’

Today, 23 December, HP Support Assistant again recommends a battery calibration.

Ran the Battery check:

Why is another calibration requested in less than 2 weeks?

Assistance is much appreciated!

I suggest using the Windows Battery report to get a clear picture as to the actual state of your laptop's battery.

If your laptop's battery has been in use for a few years, there is a chance that it may be at a tipping point in its service life where replacement may be required.

See the article I wrote at the link that explains how to use it.

What a battery calibration actual does is reset the charge full point to actual compared to where it once was.

Lithium Ion and other batteries do lose charge capacity over time.
