Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

17-by 1xxy 6GS68UA #ABA fails with Ref code: 9AJLHT-000ARH-MFGKGK-COBK13.  Pc diagnostics window says contact HP, but selecting 'Yes' never goes there.  Unit is out of warranty, but wondering if there is a battery problem addressed out of warranty.  If not, what is the correct battery P/n?  Thank-you.

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I understand that your HP notebook battery failed, in order to fix this issue your battery needs to be replaced.

To get the answer to this question, the average laptop battery is good for around 400 recharged cycles. After that, it starts to lose its capacity to hold a charge or fail. As we have limited support boundaries in the support community as of now.

I would request you to contact our Support and our Support Engineers should be able to sort this out. HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link: www.hp.com/contacthp/
