Battery Compatibility Issue – HP Pavilion 14-ec0033AU

I’m having a real problem figuring out the correct battery for my laptop. Part of the issue is that Google returns a lot of incorrect information, and the HP website doesn’t clearly list parts anymore. Some of HP’s search tools also seem to be discontinued, so I can’t search properly by model.

The laptop is an HP Pavilion 14-ec0033AU.

If you want a genuine HP replacement battery, you can get one from HP Parts Store for $112.15.

if you use the battery part number to search on vendors (e.g. Amazon and eBay) for compatible replacement batteries, you'll find them for much less prices.
