HP Pavilion Laptop PC 15-eh0000
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I bought this laptop a few months ago. Suddenly, after starting up, I get this message:

Battery Counterfeit Check Error

HP recommends using HP batteries only. Using a non-compatible or non-HP battery might pose health and safety risks. The installed battery does not appear to be an HP battery and fast charging might not be available.

Weird thing is that I never opened up the laptop, so it still contains the original battery. When I click enter, I can continue using the device, but I keep getting the message every time I start up. The battery works and charges normally, so I don't know why the message keeps popping up.

This video shows how to update your HP computer BIOS in Windows by following some simple steps. We will first disable BitLocker if it is enabled and then suspend real-time protection in Windows Defender before downloading the latest BIOS updates and installing them. We will then enable these back
