Hello;
Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums!
First off, you say the battery is "blank" the next day -- does that mean it is dead? If so, the numbers don't add up. Even if it was in sleep mode for 12 hours, at the maximum drain rate you specified, that would be less than 50% drain, so the battery should still have at least 1/2 charge.
If the battery is indeed dead, or nearly so, the next day, then that implies something wrong with the battery, the charger, or the power subsystem on the laptop -- and that is something you need HP Tech Support to help you determine.
You paid for free HP Tech Support as part of the warranty coverage, so you might as well make use of it.
While this PC is still under warranty, you should contact HP Customer Support directly to have them put you in touch with HP Technical Support to see what they can do about troubleshooting and repairing your machine remotely.
I did this recently and the HP Tech was able to remotely access my PC from the Internet to check out the problems.
If you live in the US or Canada, contact information is on this page: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/phone-assist.html#section1
If you live elsewhere, contact information is on this page: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/ww-contact-us.html
NOTE: After you get through, stay on the line until you are finally able to talk to some one -- it can take a while!
If you have trouble finding a phone number, then try: 1 (800) 474-6836

However, HP Customer Support is generally not available on the weekends, so you might have to wait until Monday to contact them.

Second, Win10 comes with a new form of hibernation enabled, known as Fast Startup (NOT Fast Boot -- which is something different) and that will cause battery drain as it is maintaining the state of the PC.
You can try disabling that to see if it helps:
There are two ways to disable FastStartup in Win8/10; (1) through the Control Panel, and (2) through an elevated command prompt.
Control Panel - Open Control Panel --> Power Options.
Select "Choose what the power buttons do"
Select "Change settings that are currently unavailable"
At the bottom of the Window, under Shutdown settings, uncheck the box regarding fast startup
Elevated command prompt - run the following command:
REG ADD "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Power" /V HiberbootEnabled /T REG_dWORD /D 0 /F
In both cases, reboot Windows.
NOW, FastStartup is disabled.

One thing we must understand is that the battery of a laptop does not store charge forever. The battery will drain even if the laptop is shut down.
But this drainage will be so minimal that we don’t feel it unless we keep the laptop shut down for a long period of time. Some time one or more software is running during sleep mode or for some reason the CPU is getting hot, and the fan is always on to try to cool it off.
Check Closing the Lid Settings
To check this, follow the steps below:
- Go to Run –> powercfg.cpl
- From the left-hand menu, click on “Choose what closing the lid does“.
- Make sure you have selected Sleep or Hibernate under “When I close lid” option for both On battery and Plugged in.
