I would like to buy a good battery for my Aunt's HP 2000 Notebook PC, which obviously is a laptop computer.

The computer is very old and simply doesn't inspire me to buy a battery that costs $100 plus.

Many batteries on Amazon, however, cost $20.  We are willing to pay up to $40, give or take a few dollars, for a good battery though.

Can anyone suggest a brand or even link me to a battery you would suggest on the Amazon website.  Amazon has a pretty liberal return policy, so I would like to go with them.

Much thanks for anyone willing to help me shop!

Regards,

Michael

First thing we will need is a Model number or Product ID found on the label usually on the bottom of the laptop. Using that we can look up which battery you need and then search for vendors with excellent reputations.
