Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I get the below pop-up message every time I start my laptop [HP Laptop PC 14-d2000 (2D126AV)]

WhatsApp Image 2024-01-25 at 9.08.15 PM.jpeg

The problem I'm facing:

The battery is getting charged way too fast.

Once I disconnect the charger, it gets switched off within few minutes (even though it shows battery is 100%)

I have to keep the charger connected in order to keep working or else it gets switched off!

Things I've checked so far:
I've checked for BIOS update, and everything is up to date.

There are no other updates available either (I've checked in HP support assistant)

I've run a battery check in HP PC hardware diagnostics, and it shows the below message. Basically battery test is getting canceled every time I try.

All other system tests have passed, and there is no issue.

And the battery status says its weak as shown in the below image. Further, it says it is not charging even when the charger is connected.

What is causing this issue? Should I replace my battery? Kindly help!
