Hi, I purchased HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15-ec2xxx in march 2022. Its only been 2 years and its battery started deteorating. I ran the hp support assistant battery test and it suggested battery replacement. Product warranty expired in March 2024.
1. The battery shows type 3 warranty. what exactly does that mean?
2. What are the ways to replace the battery and make sure its the original one compatible with the system?
3. Is there any issues that might be with the laptop that caused battery damage this early?
Thank you!

Hi @Sakshi4780 ,
the battery is a consumable that the more it is used the less life it will have, the battery warranty cannot apply more than the computer warranty. The heat, the continuous charging when the laptop is on, makes the battery deteriorate.
Battery (3 cell, 52 Whr) L48495-005
To purchase the battery, you must use the part number in an internet search engine and find a seller.
