Battery K104 HP Spare 800049-001

Since a month I have been trying to get a genuine battery for my year old laptop HP Pavilion Notebook 15-ab032TX. The battery started misbehaving within an year and finally failed in 15months.

I have tried HP online, HP service provides - Sysnet India, Amazon & other online stores and at least 25 different retail shops in three different cities for a genuine battery but all efforts in vain.

The battery is HP K104 Notebook battery with replacement part number 800043-001.

Both these numbers return 0 out of 0 in various searches.

Can you help?

You will have to select which PC is yours.

Once you do that, it will list out all the parts for your PC, and for batteries, it lists replacement part numbers as well.

Thanks for the revert. Was able to find battery but cannot order it as it seems out of stock.Sigh!!

I have the same Laptop and also have battery problems, you say the replacement number is 800043-001, when I checked my battery the number is 800049-001, if you type this into the search engine it comes up with lots of replacement batteries ranging from £23.00 up to £90.00. hope this helps
