I am currently looking to get a genuine battery for my  old laptop HP Pavilion Notebook 15-ab070 nx.

I have tried HP online, and it seems that it is not available any more,.

According to the Product Specifications it shows that your PC has been shipped with 4-cell, 41 Wh Li-ion polymer Battery. 

For finding the compatible part for your HP notebook. Please go through the Maintenance and Service guide of your notebook.

Chapter 1. Product Description - for the part description - page number 5.

Chapter 3 Illustrated parts catalog for the spare part number - Battery (4-cell, 41-Whr, 2.8-Ah Li-ion) 800049-001  Page number. 27.

Since the part number is Universal, If for some reason it's not available on HP website, then I would suggest you could try to check online such as Amazon or eBay.
