Battery Life Time

Hi all

I have a small doubt about battery life..e

i always use laptop with power cable plugged to laptop and sometime over night i will keep charging and download torrents is it effects the battery or its life?

i request if this is not a proper category move to the respectiv

Hello,

Using the laptop that way will impact your battery life slowly over time. I did the same to mine and after 1 year, battery life was cut in half. After 2-3 years the battery was kaput.

In your case, I recommend removing the battery if you're not using it and just keeping the laptop plugged in over night for torrenting purposes.

Only put it back in if you plan ti actually use it, you're lucky you purchased a model with a removable battery.

how about if my laptop cant remove the battery.. will be battery die fast if left it on without unplug the cable.
