HP Pavilion Laptop PC 14-dv0000 (9WF42AV)

I am facing issue in my HP Pavilion laptop with serial number [Personal Information Removed].

After the latest software update, the battery not charging.

On using HP battery check using HP Support Assistant I get the error code U057LC-AM0BKH-MFPV4J-C0CN23 asking to replace the battery.

I don't understand how suddenly battery can get damaged after a software update.

Can you please help.

It was a software bug and got fixed after next software update

I generated a battery report and it shows equal "design capacity" and "full charge capacity".

Both having a value of 36,913 mWh.
