Battery Part No. 915230-421 ON03XL

I have been trying to find a replacement battery for my laptop.  However, the part number is no longer recognised.   I am worried I order the wrong one, does anyone know what the replacement battery number should be.

We don't know what laptop model you have, but after a few years, HP quits offering batteries for every model. Use 915230-421 to search HP PartSurfer, google it for resellers, try Amazon or eBay are other options.

Try and get a HP part, the age of the laptop may leave you with no other option than a generic replacement battery, but they are less in price. Read reviews of the product if you want to go generic. There are some decent ones, and a lot of junk ones.

The service manual shows how to replace the battery if you are up to the task. You also want to purchase an inexpensive cell phone repair kit to use to separate the bottom cover from the top. Using a small screwdriver or pocket knife risks marring the two. If you need more help, just ask.,

Thank you for your reply.   I will try for the generic one but my laptop,  HP Pavilion x360 13-0102na 13.3" Touch Laptop, is 2.5 years old, so didn't expect to experience so much difficulty in trying to locate a battery.
