Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I have a laptop that works great for what I use it for, but, the battery isn’t usable at all. I have to use the laptop while it’s charging if I don’t want it to shutdown within 10 minutes of normal use, a few BIOS messages about the battery health being depleted have come up and always do when I boot it up after a shutdown on battery power. But it works fine on charge, I’d just like to replace the battery so I can use it without needing to be plugged in.

I’ve been looking through HP forums and have found a similar post with the same model but slightly different specs, however I don’t know if the battery linked in the answer for that post is the same for mine so I am making this separate one to be sure!

I did buy the laptop from Curry’s but they cost a lot for any type of replacement, which I’m just not able to afford right now, I have a family friend who can replace the battery if I get the part for it.

Could someone please help? It’s a great laptop and I’d love to enjoy using it for another few years if I can just get the battery situation sorted out.

Thanks in advance,
